Following the interview and co-design session, we initiated a brainstorming phase. The image on the left illustrates our initial ideas. During the interview, participants expressed their desire for a product that would enhance their cycling experience.

Subsequently, in the co-design session, we determined to focus on developing a solution that promotes a sense of safety while cycling. Recognizing the limitations posed by their visual impairments, our aim is to create a product that mitigates minor cycling challenges, allowing users to concentrate more on the act of cycling itself.

Some concepts generated during the co-design session include:

• A navigation system that calculates the safest routes.

• A sun cap designed to shield the user from sun and rain while cycling.

• A bright light to enhance contrast on the road.

• A distance sensor to alert the user if they approach too close to the sidewalk.
