Ideation

Light and handles

During our co-design session, a unique idea emerged: instead of having the user wear a device, we proposed mounting it directly onto the bicycle. This approach eliminates the need for constant removal and ensures the device is always with the bicycle.

The product could be mounted on the steering wheel, serving as a navigation system, a communication device using vibration for feedback, or a bright light that illuminates the path ahead.

Another concept, depicted on the right side of the image, focuses on the design of the light. To address participants' concerns about blinding others and considering their limited visibility range (up to 3 meters), the light's direction would be directed towards the ground. This configuration ensures that the light is effective for the cyclist without causing discomfort or hazards to others on the road.
