In the future the camera and the accompanying software would need to be developed. This would need its own prototyping and many iterations. Similar technologies can be found in self-driving cars and this could be applied to the bike as well. For this prototyping and product development it is important to focus on the reliability as users will use this in uncontrolled situations in public spaces. Therefore a multitude of tests need to be conducted in order to be reliable.  

 

Furthermore, making this product more universal allows the users to choose a bike to their liking without having to worry whether this product will fit or not. In this development it would be necessary to focus on how the product would not be stolen. It could also make the product available to a wider audience who are visually impaired and would like to feel safer on the bike.
